Worum geht es nun im Seoul-Statement?

Christian Haslebacher, der Leiter der Viva Kirche Schweiz und Teilnehmer in Seoul hat das Statement kurz vorgestellt und eine erste Einschätzung dazu geschrieben. Er meint, dass es ein Weckruf sei. Der Kongress geht noch bis zum 28. September und kann auch Online mitverfolgt werden. Mehr dazu unten.

Die bisherigen Dokumente

Die Verpflichtung von Lausanne gilt als eines der wichtigsten Dokumente der evangelikalen Bewegung und gehört bis heute zum Bekenntnis vieler evangelikaler Gruppierungen. Das Manifest von Manila baute auf der Verpflichtung von Lausanne auf und schloss neben Evangelisation auch die soziale Verpflichtung von Christen mit ein. Die Kapstadt-Verpflichtung führte das fort und betonte das Handeln in einer zunehmend pluralen Welt.
